What To Expect

Recovery after an MVA isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s a dynamic process that involves managing pain and restoring movement, strength and everyday function. That’s why we use a four-pillar approach to guide your rehabilitation journey: Soothe the Signal, Mobilize to Move, Fortify the Foundation, and Reclaim Your Routine. Each pillar represents a key phase of healing, and our team supports different aspects of your care depending on where you are in your recovery. Whether you’re just beginning or working towards full independence, this framework ensures a comprehensive, coordinated, and personalized path back to wellness. We recommend starting with physiotherapy to assess your readiness for other services. 

FAQs

Will I have to pay anything out of pocket?

We offer direct billing to ICBC, so you can skip the stress and focus on what matters most – your recovery. Most treatments are fully covered; however, a small user fee may apply for certain services — such as IMS or acupuncture provided as part of physiotherapy, or for 60-minute massage therapy sessions. (Please note: 45-minute massage sessions are fully covered with no additional fee.)

What services are covered under my ICBC claim?

Our clinic provides physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and kinesiology services. In addition, counselling and acupuncture (provided by a registered acupuncturist) are also covered under your ICBC claim.

Do I need a doctor's referral for treatment?

A referral isn’t required to begin treatment. In many cases, you can start right away depending on the details of your ICBC claim. 

What if it’s been past 12 weeks and I haven’t started treatment with a healthcare provider?

Our team can request a single session for an initial assessment. If approved, this appointment will help us better understand your current needs, outline an appropriate care plan, and request any additional sessions as needed. 

What happens when my pre-approved sessions expire or run out but I need more?

If additional sessions are needed, your care team will submit the request on your behalf. Please be aware that final approval is determined by your adjuster.

I’m currently attending another clinic but would like to switch to yours. Is that possible?

Yes, that is possible. Please provide us with your claim number, and we will contact your adjuster to review your sessions and services so we can coordinate your care seamlessly. 

May I see more than one healthcare provider at the same time?

Absolutely! You’re not limited to just one type of provider. In fact, a collaborative approach is often beneficial — many clients experience better outcomes when they work with a team of professionals across different disciplines.
