As a child, sports injuries often kept Daniel on the sidelines. It was frustrating, but this was the doorway for him to become a physiotherapist. Initially, he started his career as a personal trainer whilst studying Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. In 2016, he obtained his master’s degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Western Ontario.
Since then, he has enjoyed sharpening his skills in a diverse range of orthopaedic and sports clinics. He has cultivated a holistic, patientcentred approach to address the root cause of injuries and ensure long lasting results. His hands-on treatment style blends soft tissue release, joint mobilization, massage, dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and fitness training. He also incorporates pain science education, postural awareness, and mindfulness.
Daniel enjoys rehabilitating all kinds of injuries, though he has a keen interest in: lower back pain, post-op management, knee and ankle sprains, shoulder pathologies, overuse injuries from work or sport.
Sports & Special Interests: Surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, basketball, football, running, strength training, and physio exercises. He is also an accomplished singer-songwriter, frequently performing live, recording, and releasing music.
